Tour Details:
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrive in Delhi transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi visit the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. In New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the India Gate, The Laxminarayan Temple, Qutab Minar, and the lotus-shaped Bahai Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi-Leh
Transfer to hotel and rest day for acclimatization. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Leh Sight-Seeing
Full day sight-seeing tour of the monasteries - Hemis, Shey and Thikse. The Hemis gompa is the highest monastery in Ladakh and contains gold status. Stupas decorated with precious stones and any priceless old Thankas. Shey gompa is situated in the ruins of the old palace of the kings of Ladakh. Thikse gompa is built on the model of the Potala palace in Lhasa in several levels of construction. It contains the three storeyed statue of the Maithriya Buddha, the future Buddha. Overnight Leh.
Day 04 : Trek to Sham Valley
Today you will trek 4-5 hrs to Sham Valley visiting Phyang and Likir monasteries on the way. Overnight we will b spend at Yanthang village in a family house enjoying local culture.
Day 05 : Yanthang to Hemis
Yanthang to Hemis Shukpachan via Rizong Monastries and Nuneries which is 3 to 4 hrs walk.This walk will also take us through a pass of 4000 mts . Overnight in family house.
Day 06 : Hemis to Misgang
Today we will start from Hemis Shukpachan to Misgang this will take 3 hrs in walk through villages and river crossing . Pick up for one hour drive to Lamayuru . Over night in hotel. Early next morning you can join for prayers in Lamayuru monasteries +meditation.
Day 07 Alchi Monatry and Raft in Zanzkar River
From Lamayuru we visit Alchi monastery - one of the oldest. From Alchi we will raft to Leh on Zanskar river, This will take for 3 to 4 hrs towards Leh.
Day 08 : Motor/Paddle bike to Khardung La
Motor bike tour for a day to Khardung La Pass at 18300 ft from but for this you need well trained bikers because there is lots of curves. OR bicycle from Khardung la pass .Over night in Leh .
Day 09 : Visit Pangong
Visit Pangong lake with its Seven colours shade which is 130 kms from Leh .Overnight Camp.
Day 10 :Leh
Drive to Leh. Day free for exploring the town and the bazaar. Overnight Leh
DAY 11 :Leh-Agra
Transfer to airport to board morning flight to Delhi ( By IT 3342 : DEP 0800 Hrs /Arr 0925 Hrs) ,Transfer to Agra and Overnight in Agra.
Day 12 :Agra-Delhi
Visit Taj Mahal in the morning. Nothing neither photographs nor descriptions can prepare you for the experience of this monument -the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal called Taj Mahal. Here the cherished companion of Emperor Shah Jahan was laid to rest. It is an acclaimed architectural masterpiece and one of the seven wonders of the world. Also visit Agra Fort. Drive back to Delhi.
Day 13 :Delhi free day.
